Pit A Pat! Let’s go to the BVA Convention
We flew all the way to Washington to participate in the BVA Convention.
‘BVA’ stands for ‘Blinded Veteran Association’.
At this convention, Dot Inc. team met the directors of the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Blinded Veteran Association, and veteran rehabilitation hospitals.

First, ‘Department of Veteran Affairs’ refers to the administrative agency of the U.S. government that works on the welfare of veterans. The term ‘veteran’ referes to soldiers who has retired after a long period of serving the country.
Special Meetings
We showed our products to the blind veterans, veteran rehabilitation clinic officials, and Department of Veteran Affairs officials during the BVA Convention.
The key figure, Donald Overton - Executive director, said that he would put supplying Dot Pad as one of the most important duties during his tenure.
Don Overton participated in introducing Dot Inc. to the veterans himself at Dot Inc.’s presentation session and after experiencing the Dot Pad, he praised our technology, skills and passion.
He must have really liked our pad.

We carried out a presentation using the interactive board.
We presented the image on Dot Pad that was placed on each table simultaneously.
Everyone liked it regardless of age.
The Presentation of Dot was well received
At the convention, there were many veterans who came with their wives.
One of the wives from all the couples wrote “I love you” on the Dot Pad and the blinded veteran was moved when he touched it.
Some Veterans came with their children.
One Veteran was pleased after touching his daughter’s rainbow drawing and reading her message adding that the Dot Pad seemed to strengthen the family bond.
AJ Swygert, the general manager of Veteran Affairs vendor relationship, showed positive reaction on the potential of Dot Pad, too.
He manages 18,000 veteran procurement companies and will meet us again in October to see how the US Department of Defense and Dot Inc. can move forward together.
AJ Swygert also added, “If it’s what veterans need, the price doesn’t matter,” showing the budget of about $200 billion at the presentation.
