The BI Service Planning Team posing with an upside-down V sign.
Last time, the team recommended by the DEV team was none other than the BI Service Planning Team.
They even showed up with a matching dress code. Dressed in crisp 'White & Blue,' you can’t help but wonder if their team atmosphere is as cool as their outfits. Let’s find out who they are!
01_"Introducing the BI & Service Planning Team and myself!"
Welcome to the fun-filled daily life of the BI & Service Planning Team!
Shall we take a sneak peek at the charming members of our team today?
Leading our team is Senior Manager Cho! His specialties? Service management and developing new services!
His nickname, "The Gaviscon-like Team Leader," is spot on, as he smoothly coordinates everything with the team, making each day fun and productive. Thanks to the team, work really flows effortlessly! lol!
Cho, Team Leader, smiling brightly.
And next up, we have Tae-jung Geum, Assistant Manager, hailing all the way from Busan!
Although he proudly introduces himself as a "Busan guy," no dialect here—he's much more used to speaking in standard Korean now. He's currently in charge of maintaining and operating the metro kiosk system from our Busan office.
Tae-jung Geum, Assistant Manager, smiling brightly.
Next, we have Hwan Choi, Senior Manager, shining as the "Jack-of-all-Trades" on our team. In charge of the kiosk app, he also holds the nickname.
Sometimes, he even lifts steel beams...? Yes, he seems ready to do whatever it takes! He jokes, "Just imagine me lifting a steel beam with one arm!" (laughs)
Hwan Choi, Senior Manager, smiling as he speaks.
Lastly, Manager Jin-sung Kim is also responsible for developing various features to ensure the kiosk screens display information correctly. He confidently says, "As you can see from my physique, I'm always ready to put in the hard work when needed!" Doesn't he just exude confidence?

02_Introduce your team members to each other!
Cho, Senior Manager: I’ve been in the workforce for 20 years, and I’ve been a team leader for 18 of those years. I’ve had a lot of experiences and learned many things along the way. Sometimes I’ve worked with team members who only focused on their own tasks, but this team is really different. Everyone is proactive and participates voluntarily. They find problems on their own and work hard to solve them. I think Tae-jung Geum, Assistant Manager, sitting next to me, is a great example of that. Though, sometimes he does push the limits just a bit!
Cho is smiling as he speaks, with Geum smiling as well.
Tae-jung Geum: Senior Manager Hwan Choi is someone I absolutely need. Whenever I need something, he handles it quickly, which makes working together so smooth and enjoyable. I’m really grateful.
Hwan Choi : (laughs) My secret is dividing my work into thirds throughout the day. Honestly, I’m a workaholic who enjoys working. People often call me a workaholic, and work is an important part of my life.
Dot Team: Researcher Hwang mentioned he’s a workaholic too, so does that mean we have another workaholic here in the BI & Service Planning Team?
Hwan Choi : To be honest, I think I might be a bit better at it… (laughs)

03_"Go New Employees! Special Tips for Company Life!"
Jin-seok Cho, Senior Manager: "I have some advice for all the new employees. Don’t rush. Sometimes, trying too hard to prove yourself can actually become a burden. Take your time, stay calm, and move forward at your own pace. Honestly, we don’t have huge expectations from new hires." (laughs)
Dot Team: "Did Senior Manager Hwan Choi have the same mindset when he was a new hire?" (laughs)Jin-seok Cho, Senior Manager: "Rather than feeling rushed, I actually felt sorry for him. When he first joined, he asked if it was okay that he couldn’t work as a developer right away. He reassured himself and joined anyway. Now, he’s turned into an impressive employee who has carved out his own path as a developer. It’s like the story of the ugly duckling finding its identity and becoming a beautiful swan!" (laughs)

04_"Teamwork You Can Feel in Our Chat Room! Is Your Team Chemistry Always This Perfect?"
Tae-jung Geum : Our team really keeps a lively atmosphere, thanks to our team leader. He strikes a great balance—it's not too rigid, and we’re free to work in a way that allows us to fully unlock our potential.
Jin-sung Kim : That’s right! Since we’re adults and professionals, we take responsibility and work autonomously, which has really improved the team’s atmosphere. The freedom we’re given allows us to balance things out well, so we collaborate effectively and keep the energy high.
Jin-sung Kim, Manager, raising his hand as if indicating success while speaking.
Dot Team: Team Leader, what’s your secret to maintaining such an awesome team?
Jin-seok Cho : The most important thing to me is just one thing: 'mutual trust.' I try my best to trust my team members completely. Of course, with autonomy comes responsibility, so I always have a backup plan ready just in case. I play the role of the 'sandbox' so you can take on challenges freely.
Tae-jung Geum : That’s why, even when we tackle new projects, we can dive in without hesitation, like we’re 'heading into the unknown' (laughs). Thanks to you, we’ve been able to charge ahead without fear. I’m really grateful to be able to work in this environment! (thumbs up)
Jin-seok Cho, Senior Manager, resting his chin on his hand, listening intently.
05_Tell us about Dot's charm! Time to brag!
Tae-jung Geum : When I first joined Dot, I was really surprised by the relaxed and free atmosphere! Coming from an engineering background, all my previous companies had a strict vibe, but when I got here, I thought, 'Is this Google? Microsoft?' (laughs)
Hwan Choi : The company atmosphere is truly relaxed and comfortable. That allows team members to work responsibly while enjoying open communication!
Jin-sung Kim : Working at Dot feels like I’m contributing something positive to society. Even during tough times, when I wonder, 'What am I doing?' I find energy again by thinking about the positive impact I’m making.
