| “Share Mind” Team wins the best supporter’s award
On the 22nd of July, Social Venture Dot announced that it has successfully carried out the "1st Barrier-Free Kiosk Supporters" campaign to improve awareness and promote barrier-free kiosks.
"Barrier-Free Kiosk Supporters" is a 2-month program designed to promote Dot’s barrier-free kiosk by monitoring those out in the market to indicate its problems and get user’s interviews. There were 5 teams in total, and the team members included people with and without disabilities.
At the "1st Barrier-Free Kiosk Supporters" ceremony, held on July 14, all supporters shared the results of their two-month long activity, and the award for outstanding supporters was given.
This year's Outstanding Supporters Award was won by the "Share Mind" team that worked in Busan. In addition, all the supporters were given a reward and certificate of completion for their hard work.
Kim Ye-ji, head of the award-winning “Share Mind” team, said, "It was a great opportunity to experience and promote barrier-free through this event. We will do our best to promote barrier-free to people who are still unaware."
Ma Seong-hwan, a visually impaired member, said, "If you use Dot’s barrier-free kiosk in person, it's great to know that it had functions like voice guidance and Braille, and I hope more people can use it."
Kim Ju-yoon, CEO of Dot, said, "The supporters played a big role in promoting Dot's barrier-free kiosk, with their new ideas and passion together,"
In addition to barrier-free kiosks, Social Venture Dot plans to expand their development of inclusive products by developing assistive devices such as Dot Pad for the visually impaired.
